Susan- I have recently felt a strong sense of energy and focus to take the next steps needed to continue on my path of certification and building my career coaching business. As I have done so I have thought much about what Judy taught me during my foundational training and how grateful I am to her for being such a trailblazer for the rest of us. As I was visiting with Chris yesterday and signing up for my next class I remembered how I had always thought I would be taking it with Judy as my instructor, and I found myself dearly missing her. I ran across this piece you wrote today, and want to thank you for capturing your heart for her in print and for sharing it. Judy certainly had a impact on my life as well. She represented and articulated something I longed to achieve... and will. Thanks, Barbara

Susan, I've heard such great things about you. As the founder of the HireFriday Community, I commend you for your work. I am coming out with a book of my own this year about my experience called, "HireFriday: A Boots On The Ground To Your Online Job Search."

I can't wait to read your book. I'm buying it tomorrow in fact. There's plenty of room for all of us. Each of us has a light that we bring into the world. Today, you name came up in a conversation. Yesterday, I was told to read your blog, and your book. When I saw Karla Porter's tweet, I took the third referral as a sign: we should connect. I hope you will follow me back. I would be delighted to get to know you better.

Sincerely,

@HRMargo Rose http://hrmargo.com

Amen, Susan!

I'm ALWAYS on the lookout for folks who might be using Twitter to great advantage, and don't realize it. (I'm sort of the Twitter evangelist in my group at the Five O'Clock Club!) After jumping into Twitter in January and blogging in March, I just became a NOOB on Facebook about two weeks ago ... how cool is that?

I do think fear of being ridiculed stops folks from jumping into something new, as well as misunderstanding the "effort-to-reward ratio"... you can get a lot out of things (like Twitter) than most people think you can without devoting a huge amount of time. I still find people who are amazed to learn they don't actually have to tweet something themselves to use Twitter!

By the way, the focus of my entire blog is my “a lot MORE out of things”!
